Beer tasting at forest cafè
Beer selection of local drinks includes beers from Karvila Brewery. During the summer season you can join beer tastings at Forest Café. Tasting includes seasonal beers from the local brewery with a small snack and hear about the selected beers. The tasting is available in Finnish and English.
The tastings will take place Friday evenings starting 5pm. The dates that tastings are organized: 26.6. & 10.7. & 24.7. & 7.8.
You can also book your own tasting any other day for minimum 4 person.
LOCAL beer from the karvila brewery
Karvila Brewery is located in the village of Karvila in Enonkoski, about 80 km from Forest Café. The brewery was founded in 2019 and has a brewery shop, visitor center, bottle sauna and can museum.
Karvila Brewery uses water from its own well and many Finnish ingredients, including spruce sprout, juniper berries and other wild berries from the forest. The brewery produces several different lagers, as well as a ale type beers and long drinks.

Beer tasting includes 3 seasonal beers (0.16-0.22l/beer) from the Karvilan Brewery. You can also wish in advance which beers you would like to taste. A small snack with the beer. The tasting starts at 5 pm and lasts about 45 minutes, so you will also have plenty of time for to go for dinner.
We will briefly go through how to taste beers and what the selected beers are like. In good weather we can sit on outdoor terrace, in bad weather in the café. You can also buy Karvilan Brewery products to take with you from.
