Welcome to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the Forest Cafe by the cliffs of Porosalmi!
In the Forest Cafe’s lounge and terrace you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, sweet and savory snacks, grill sausages on the fire pits, and at the same time watch the life of the alpacas in the enclosure. With the exception of alcoholic beverages, it is also possible to enjoy your own snacks outdoors.

In the winter, you can also go sledding down the sledge hill in the yard. You can borrow sledges and sleds from the cafe. During the thaw, the cafe offers traditional yard games and a trampoline to its customers.

On Foot
Along the paved Porosalmentie Road, past Järvikylpylä, turn right at the first Forest Cafe sign onto a narrow hiking trail through the forest.
From the outdoor trail that starts from the Safari House, turn right at the 1st sign for the Forest Cafe onto the paved Porosalmentie Road and turn left at the first intersection.
By CAR
Past the lakeside Spa and Safari House along Porosalmentie, at the third sign for Metsäkahvila, turn right onto Hakotuvantie, and turn right at the first intersection. We recommend leaving your car in the Järvisydän parking area. There is limited space for cars in the yard of Forest Cafe.
